Boeing 787 Training Program
My first ID role at Boeing was on the 787 project. No planes were built at the start of the project, and only the first two were built during the project’s duration. They still would not fly for another few years.
I worked with SMEs, engineers, area managers and manufacturing leads to develop courses for safety, foreign object debris, door rigging, tool control, interior installation, sealing, and others.
Content had to remain somewhat fluid, as many of the processes were being ironed out as we developed training.
Deliverables were student and instructor guides, presentations, and videos.
I took the above photo when the 787 first flew from Paine Field in Everett, WA.
