2024: Capture extensive experience from repair and service technicians for power generation engines and back-up power generators.

2022-2023: Knowledge and training materials developed in Rise for retail site designers and producers across four brands moving to a new content management system.

2021: ID on a wide range of continuous projects centering around sales of software solutions built in Rise and Storyline 360.

2020 and 2022: A major software company needed to rapidly transfer in-person world-wide readiness sales training to an effective online MOOC format for 30,000 users.

2020-21: Developed training in Storyline 360 for software service engineers who knew a lot about the details of complex corporate software solutions but needed a little help around dealing with the complexities of challenging customer service situations.

2020: The Naval War College had 180 lessons they needed to convert from an older format to Storyline 360 for implementation on their LMS. I was part of a 3 person team that divvied up the lessons, updated them as needed, and rebuilt them in Storyline on a fast production cycle.

2020: Researched and boarded distance learning fundamentals content for Uniformed Services University instructors to move their classroom content effectively to online formats in the wake of COVID limitations.

2019: Analyzed existing process flows across multiple organizations, and designed improvements within a major software company’s global customer service response group after migration of operations to the cloud.

2019: Researched and developed online courseware for fiber optic installation and maintenance technicians in Storyline 3, posted to JoomlaLMS.

2018: As an ID, I came on the tail end of a project to finish and perform quality assurance (QA) on 28 Storyline 2 courses for FAA compliance training conducted by a major airline.

2018: In a documentation specialist role, I focused on updating procedure and policy documentation for sustaining business critical store activities in 116 Retail and Specialty Stores across several countries.

2017: In a PM/ID combination role, I managed world-wide readiness learning projects and events in close cooperation with client and other contractors. When presenters needed help I provided instructional design work and guidance.

2016: Developed manager training for a large software firm. As an ID on this team, I took content in the form of existing PowerPoints, updated content per client direction, and then built out lesson content in Intrepid’s MOOC tool.

2008-2015: During this time span I was an ID on a small team embedded with the Boeing Everett Paint shop. We partnered with stakeholders to develop a wide range of training efforts to support painters and leadership.

2007-2014: On this project, which spanned 7 years as needed, I worked as a researcher, script writer, director, and editor on a series of 22 short videos that profiled the challenges around a particular manufacturing job role.

2009-10: As an instructional design consultant on this contract, I helped manage the direction, quality, and steady production flow across multiple third parties involved in building a large number of WBT courses for automotive technicians.

2012-13: On this project I developed a complete 200-hour classroom and lab training program for decorative painters working in a new type of paint hangar.

2007-2009: I developed all the training materials for annual in-person training seminars for sales personnel in the manufacturing vertical of a large software development company to include all classroom materials and games.

2008-2015: All of the work I did at Boeing I can’t show for proprietary reasons. In some cases, I’ve been able to find images online to use in this portfolio, but for several large projects I could not find any images, so I summarize those projects in this section.

2007-2008: After my successful work on the 787 training program, a Boeing SME I worked with on 787 selected me to develop multiple training programs for door riggers on legacy airplanes 747, 767, and 777.
